Registered Veterinary Technician
We’re looking for:
An experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join a thriving, 5-star Veterinary Practice!
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, anesthesia monitoring etc. Someone who has a strong desire to work in surgery as well as enjoys client communication.
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Will work closely with clients, patients, and staff during DVM and tech appointments. Triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
Feed, walk and care for animals
Sterilize equipment and clean examination tables and rooms
Safely Restrain animals during examinations or procedures
Regular and timely attendance
Administer medication prescribed by Veterinarians with accuracy
Observe animal behavior or health condition and report to the Vet
Help in cases of emergencies
Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing the medical record
Keep accurate records and logs
Reassure clients that their pets are being cared for and explain issues (e.g. appointment availability)
Advise pet owners on nutrition and preventive healthcare
Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Patient and caring personality
Ability to follow instructions properly
Comfortable being around animals (cats, dogs, birds, reptiles etc.)
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs)
Join a supportive team in a high-end, modern environment. Pet Groomers will perform top quality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have current grooming experience, or a recent graduate from a certified grooming school with hands on experience, and be able to consistently provide pups, cats and parents with a high level of gentle and professional care. Job duties may include but not limited to:
Maintain an upbeat attitude
Calm an anxious dog
Ensure company policies are being followed
Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
Shampoo and wash a dog's or cat's hair or fur
Create a welcoming environment for patients and their owners
Cut or shave a dog's or cat's hair or fur
Utilize and maintain tools needed to perform the duties such as clippers, blades, scissors, dryers, etc.
Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
