The Paw Patch

In 1984 Dr. Lee Walker and Dr. Erik Tysklind established the first Paw Patch Veterinary Hospital at 16th & Arlington. The Paw Patch grew to 3 clinics in just 4 years.

Since then, the Georgetown location moved to 56th and Lafayette Road; 16th & Arlington Avenue clinic closed and was reborn at Stop 11 and Emerson. In February 2009, the College Avenue location was sold to Dr. Penny Dowden, a long-time Paw Patch Veterinarian.

Throughout these years our doctors and staff have remained unchanged in their dedication towards you and your pet’s care.
